“Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!” Romans 5:9
Four times Paul writes, “how much more” (verses 9, 10, 15, and 17) and one “all the more” (verse 20). Through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, we have gained more than we lost in the Garden. We’ve learnt more about the compassion, graciousness, abounding love and faithfulness of God through Jesus. In the Garden, Adam and Eve didn’t know the lengthens God would go to in order to restore his relationship with people. In Jesus, we do.
