“Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Romans 13:10
The fulfillment of the law isn’t the completion of a long list of rules and regulations. A list of laws doesn’t draw us near to God, rather it shows us our inability to reach his standards. When we acknowledge our inability, God responds by freely reaching out to us. Now we can fulfil the law since his love flows through us to others. It doesn’t do harm as it places no burden of expectation on others. They are free to receive God’s love.
