“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power,
for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
The twenty-four elders use these words to worship God. They’re acknowledging God’s worthiness as Creator of all. Likewise, we too acknowledge God’s worth through our songs, prayers and when we use our time and talents in his service. By our actions, we’re saying he’s worthy of our time and efforts. When we commit our lives to God, we’re saying he’s worthy of any sacrifice we make for him.
