The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. Proverbs 22:3
God will show a prudent person potential danger. We become aware if we’re putting ourselves in a spiritually unhealthy situation. We may be at an event or someone’s house and realise that something untoward could be about to happen. At such times, we check our spirit. We listen to see if God is warning us of danger and if so, we take refuge. Perhaps by simply going home. By being alert to God, we’re kept safe and avoid negative consequences.
