“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight” Philippians 1:9
Paul’s prayer for the Philippians is that their love may abound. Not a love that is weak or blind or emotional, but a love based on knowledge and depth of insight. We love others knowing their weaknesses, yet desiring their maturity. When we love with knowledge and insight, we are wise in the way we help. We don’t offer temporary solutions that make people dependent or benefit us in some way, rather we consider what’s best for their future.
