First, Satan suggests that God isn’t providing for Jesus’ needs the way he should. Second, Satan attempts to coerce God into working a miracle on Jesus’ behalf. Third, Satan offers Jesus the kingdoms of this world, but God had already promised these to Jesus. By consistently choosing God’s ways, Jesus avoided falling into temptation.
