“After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them.’” Mark 9 2
To be transfigured, means Jesus “allowed his glory to radiate through his whole being” (Wierbse). Likewise, as we focus our lives on Jesus and our attention on his majesty, his Spirit will radiate through our being. “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
