“But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves … I am among you as one who serves.” Luke 22:26-27
True greatness is available to everyone because it’s not achieved by being born into wealth, receiving opportunities for advancement, inheriting status or by arrogance. Jesus is our example, he didn’t deliberately draw attention to himself and often withdrew from crowds. He had genuine reasons to claim greatness but chose humility and service. Likewise for us, greatness begins with humility and service.
