“Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” Luke 21:3
When we give out of our wealth, we hardly miss the money. It’s not a sacrificial response to what God has given us. God honours a poor widow because her giving was sacrificial and demonstrated how much God meant to her. God gave sacrificially. He gave us what was most precious, important and valuable to him, Jesus.
