Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.” John 21:10-11
Jesus doesn’t rebuke them for returning to fishing. He even performs a miracle for their benefit and cooks some of the fish they catch. They are so impressed they count the fish! Jesus has provided more than they could possibly eat by themselves. Jesus loves to provide more than enough (John 2:6-10; 6:13; Luke 5:6-7).
