“You are a king, then!” said Pilate.
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” John 18:37
If anyone is genuinely interested in seeking and knowing the truth, they will eventually come to faith in God. Pilate asks, “What is truth?” (v.28). But he doesn’t wait for an answer as if it is unknowable. God’s kingdom is about knowing the truth and truth is found in the person of Jesus Christ (14:6).
