What I feared has come upon me;
what I dreaded has happened to me. Job 3:25
He is wooing you from the jaws of distress
to a spacious place free from restriction. Job 36:16
Job lived with excessive fear. God allows him to experience his worst fears so he learns not to live in fear and dread of the future. Job doesn’t find freedom from fear because nothing distressing will ever happen to him again but because he knows God will sustain him if it does. Likewise, God longs to lead us into “a spacious place free from restriction.”
