“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.” Isaiah 30:18
God longs to be gracious to us. He wants to bless us more than we want to be blessed. When Jesus turned the water into wine, why six jars? Each held 75 litres. One jar would have been more than enough. Often we have limited outcomes in mind. We put God in a box and ask him to do this little thing or that little thing but what if God wants to bless us with more than we can handle?
