“Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.” Acts 28:24
Paul, probably the world’s best preacher and teacher, gave compelling reasons and evidence for faith but some chose not to believe. Some will never believe, not because of the lack of evidence, but because of their lack of desire to know the truth. Jesus tells us, “If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead” (Luke 16:31). Our responsibility is to present God’s truth and allow the Word to work in their lives.
