“The king is familiar with these things … I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, because it was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do.” Acts 26:26-27

King Agrippa was a Jew and “well acquainted with all the Jewish customs” (verse 3). If Agrippa agreed to belief in the prophets, Paul’s next question would be, ‘Is Jesus the one the prophets wrote about?’ Agrippa wasn’t interested in discussing the evidence for Jesus’ Messiahship. He shut down the discussion and sent Paul to Rome. He missed his opportunity.
