“Then Agrippa said to Festus, ‘I would like to hear this man myself.’ He replied, ‘Tomorrow you will hear him.’” Acts 25:22
Paul aroused the curiosity of Jewish and Roman leaders. This is an encouraging first response. If people’s curiosity is aroused they’re more likely to listen to our message. Sadly for these leaders curiosity didn’t lead them to further investigation or to repentance—at least not at this time. God wanted Paul to testify to these officials to stir their hearts to a place where they would be open to hearing more. Arousing curiosity is always a good idea.
