“As Peter entered the house … He said to them: ‘You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.’” Acts 10:25, 28
We skim over the words “Peter entered the house.” Yet, this was the first time Peter had ever been in a Gentile home and not only did he enter, but he stayed (v.48). Once Peter had thought visiting a Gentile home would make him “unclean” but now he’s learning to see God’s perspective.
