“This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed.” 1 Corinthians 4:1

The word, “entrusted” was used to describe the responsibility of a highly regarded servant who looked after a large estate. He supervised other servants to ensure his responsibilities were fulfilled. Paul asks to be regarded as one who has been entrusted. His large estate is the mystery of the Gospel, which he explains, teaches and unveils to others. Likewise, we’ve been entrusted with the Gospel and the responsibility of imparting its message to others.
