“Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached?” 1 Corinthians 14:36
Paul has taught them they are the Body of Christ. Now he’s teaching some practical implications of this truth. For example, we need to listen to each other. No one has a monopoly on God’s truth. We learn from each other and give proper attention to the thinking and practices of other congregations. We grow by learning to love and exercise tolerance with one another in the Body of Christ. We don’t upset other believers by demanding our preferences.
