“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5
Paul’s description of love can also apply to how God loves us. Then it would read, God is patient and kind. God isn’t jealous or boastful or proud or rude. God doesn’t demand his own way. God isn’t irritable and keeps no record of being wronged. Therefore, let’s open our hearts and receive God’s love in all its fullness.
