Poem : Measuring Greatness

March 1, 2022

Are the ones who belt a ball strong and straight more valuable
than surgeons slicing with scalpels?

Are the ones who comprehend the complicated wiser
than ambassadors adding to acceptance?

Are the ones who gain golden medals more successful
than labourers working late to feed their families?

Are the ones who are workaholics more worthwhile
than partly employed parents who are present?

Are the ones who conquer mountains more competent
than a squad of searchers seeking souls?

Are you seeking solace in your skills or your soul?
