Here’s how the study works: Read the chapters mentioned in the heading during the week and share any words, thoughts, verses that stood out to you. Having a week for several chapters creates the opportunity to revisit them and make additional comments as you feel inclined as well as make comments on other people’s insights.
26:64 Not one of them was among those counted by Moses and Aaron the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Desert of Sinai.
After this plague (v. 1) none of the Israelites who left Egypt were alive except Moses, Joshua & Caleb. The plague was the result of them not being totally committed to God's ways and now the older generation were all gone. These people did not end their lives well. They were allured away from God by their enemies.

27:5 So Moses brought their case before the Lord
When the people had a problem that wasn't covered in the laws God gave, Moses went to God and this became a precedent for future cases.
Under the new covenant there are many things that are not covered that we (not just leaders) need to go to God for. However these things don't necessarily become precedents or applicable to everyone else.

28:2 Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Make sure that you present to me at the appointed time my food offerings, as an aroma pleasing to me.’
(From Constable's commentary) "… this overwhelming emphasis on sacrificial worship has one intent: to cause each reader to think of the enormity of the offense of our sin against the holiness of God, thus driving the repentant sinner to the foot of the Cross. All sacrifices … have their ultimate meaning in the death the Savior died … before his death, these sacrifices were the very means God gave his people in love to help them face the enormity of their sin, the reality of their need for his grace, and-in some mysterious way-to point them to the coming cross of Savior Jesus"
The sacrifices we make for God are so puny when we look at the extensive sacrificial system God put in place.

29:7 On the tenth day of this seventh month hold a sacred assembly. You must deny yourselves and do no work.
Denying yourself is an Old and New Covenant requirement. Maybe this is the difficulty that led the Israelites to going astray.
Not working denies us the pleasure of work, achievement and success.

30:14 But if her husband says nothing to her about it from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or the pledges binding on her. He confirms them by saying nothing to her when he hears about them.
Saying nothing is actually agreement with whatever is taking place. (For example: Genesis 3:6 Adam said nothing when Eve ate the fruit.)
(From Constable's Commentary) Vows in this day were common. They "were voluntary promises to do or not do specified things if God would or would not do something else" – may also express thanks or devotion.
