Having a week for several chapters creates the opportunity to revisit them and make additional comments as you feel inclined as well as make comments on other people’s insights.
Seven times God says "I will" in 6:6-8 but Moses still had to go to Pharaoh.
I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.
I will free you from being slaves to them.
I will redeem you with an outstretched arm.
I will take you as my own people.
I will be your God.
I will bring you to the land.
I will give it to you as a possession.

8:19 the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.”
The magicians realized that the plague of gnats was not magic but had to be God. Thus revealing that they knew what they were doing was not by the power of any god but was magic. God puts the magicians in a situation where they have to say, "Only God could have done that."

9:20-21 Those officials of Pharaoh who feared the word of the Lord hurried to bring their slaves and their livestock inside. But those who ignored the word of the Lord left their slaves and livestock in the field.
Some of Pharaoh's officials were at last taking Moses/God seriously, but not all, and certainly not Pharaoh. The plagues were having an effect. For some it was positive, others negative.
