Here’s how the study works: Read the chapters mentioned in the heading during the week and share any words, thoughts, verses that stood out to you. Having a week for several chapters creates the opportunity to revisit them and make additional comments as you feel inclined as well as make comments on other people’s insights.
11:36 The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place.
Many commentators feel the prophesy at this point changes from being future to distant future and starts being about the anti-Christ. This is because historically they can find fulfilments of the predictions in v.2-35 concerning the King of the North and the King of the South. The recorded history of this period is amazingly accurate to what Daniel predicted. So much so that those who don't believe in predictive prophesy believe that someone wrote it after the events. However from v.36 onward commentators can't find historical parallels.
All this gives us great confidence to know that one day the prophesies from v.36 onwards will also be fulfilled.

12:13 As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.
Daniel is told to "go your way". The Message puts it this way, "Go about your business without fretting or worrying. Relax." Daniel had completed the task God had given him to do so he didn't need to be worried or concerned about future events. Daniel was probably about ninety years old by now.
