Having a week for a chapter creates the opportunity to reread it several times and make additional comments as you feel inclined as well as make comments on other people’s insights.
v.13 When a gentle south wind began to blow, they saw their opportunity; so they weighed anchor and sailed along the shore of Crete.
Sometimes we think we have what we want only to find ourselves in a huge storm. Nevertheless God is with us in the storm and He won't desert us even if it is our bad decisions that lead us into the storm.

v.10 “Men, I can see that our voyage is going to be disastrous and bring great loss to ship and cargo, and to our own lives also.”
v.24 Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’
People should have died but God not only protected Paul but graciously protected everyone else too. Our God is a gracious God, sparing Paul the trauma of seeing people drown and giving them the opportunity of believing in Him. God will give people every possible opportunity to turn to Him.

v.25 So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.
Paul encourages the men with his faith. He encouraged these men to trust him while he trusted God. Sometimes we have to "lend" people our faith until they get their own.

v.11 But the centurion, instead of listening to what Paul said, followed the advice of the pilot and of the owner of the ship.
Paul was a very experienced sea traveller who had also been shipwrecked three times (2 Cor. 11:25). He actually knew what he was talking about!
