Here’s how the study works: Read the chapter mentioned in the heading several times during the week and share any words, thoughts, verses that stood out to you. Having a week for a chapter creates the opportunity to reread it several times and make additional comments as you feel inclined as well as make comments on other people’s insights.
v.11 If the charges brought against me by these Jews are not true, no one has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar!”
Later in Acts 26:32 it says that Paul could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar. However if he had been set free the Jews were planning to kill him.
Ultimately God's plans cannot be thwarted. God wanted Paul in Rome and so Paul ended up in Rome.

v.19 Instead, they had some points of dispute with him about their own religion and about a dead man named Jesus who Paul claimed was alive.
Our beliefs seem like nonsense to non-believers. They don't understand why some get so worked up about things that seem ridiculous to them. We need wisdom in dealing with those outside faith.

v.3 They requested Festus, as a favor to them, to have Paul transferred to Jerusalem, for they were preparing an ambush to kill
him along the way.
Two years later (24:27) and nothing has changed. Issues that are not dealt with don't go away. The hatred doesn't go away, it hardens the heart.

v.25-26 I found he had done nothing deserving of death, but because he made his appeal to the Emperor I decided to send him to Rome. But I have nothing definite to write to His Majesty about him. Therefore I have brought him before all of you, and especially before you, King Agrippa, so that as a result of this investigation I may have something to write.
(From Constable’s Commentary) After explaining his need in face- saving language, Festus turned the hearing over to Agrippa. "This naïve confession of Festus reveals how unjust has been his whole treatment of Paul."
