v.1 Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking.
Peter thought it necessary to stimulate his readers to think good thoughts. It is a good reminder for us to be on our guard. We live in a fallen world and we are constantly bombarded with inappropriate images, jokes, and ideas. We have to choose to think on those things which are true, pure, wholesome.
