Here’s how the study works: Read the chapter mentioned in the heading several times during the week and share any words, thoughts, verses that stood out to you. Having a week for a chapter creates the opportunity to reread it several times and make additional comments as you feel inclined as well as make comments on other people’s insights.

v.6 You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
To do right takes courage.

v.1-2 …if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.
Those who live in close promity to us will see by our lives whether being a Christian makes any difference.
Christianity is "more caught, than taught."

v.4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
People often say I am gentle and quiet but I suspect that what God is talking about here is not the sort of gentleness that comes from personality. A spiritually gentle and quiet spirit comes from trusting God – knowing that we don't have to fret because He has everything under control.

So true, Susan. Knowing God is in control we can let go of our anxiety and fear. Sometimes easier said than done.

Yes definitely easier said than done.

v.13-14 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”
(From Constable’s Commentary) "…Christians have an incredible contribution to make to the society in which they live by breaking the cycle of people returning evil for evil. As we begin to do good, most people will return that good by doing good…Just as people tend to return evil for evil, they usually return good for good."
