Here’s how the study works:
Read the chapter mentioned in the heading several times during the week and share any words, thoughts, verses that stood out to you. Having a week for a chapter creates the opportunity to reread it several times and make additional comments as you feel inclined as well as make comments on other people’s insights.

v.7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
If we live by faith, especially in difficult circumstances – like Job it gives glory to God, making our faith of greater worth than gold.

v.22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.
We don't "try" to to love others it comes about automatically as we are purified.

v.13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.
We are to prepare our minds for action not 'empty them' or think about anything and everything that drops into them. Rather we are to prepare our minds by choosing what we think about, choose what we dwell on. If we constantly think negavie thoughts we will ended up with a negative attitude. However if we focus more on positive thoughts we will have a more positive outlook. Choose what you allow into your mind!

Automatic negative thoughts (ants). Something I've been grapling with lately. ….and also the "ants" of people around me. I often allow those to affect me and mostly I dont recognise them.
If we Love one another deeply we need to responsible for what comes out of our mouths and how we affirm one another or not.

Ants – I like the acronym! Makes me think that our 'automatic negative thoughts' are like ants – small, annoying, persistance and numerous, but easily brushed aside. Thinking of them as 'ants' keeps them in proper perspective.
