I love to write about God and the relationship He wants to have with us. I am currently working on a nonfiction book which explores the issues that cause us to say, "If I were God, I would..." This book has grown out of the devotional articles that I have been writing for over 20 years. Many of these articles are available on this site by clicking on Devotions NT for devotional thoughts from the New Testament. There is a link on this page for devotional thoughts based on an Old Testament verse. This will give you a taste for my perspective and writing style. A book provides me with the opportunity to explore more deeply and at greater length the issues I raise in these articles. I love reading and over the years many books have influenced my thinking and stimulated ideas for my writing. Therefore I have included some of my Book Reviews on this site.
Another project I am working on is a series of children's books with each book based on a Bible character. You can read more by clicking on Kids' Books.
In between times I continue to write devotional thoughts, inspirational articles and book reviews for my blog called "Abooklook".
I also have another blog called "The Bible Study Place" for those who would like to study the Bible with me. In 2008 we looked at Ruth, Thessalonians, John (gospel and letters), and Jonah. In 2009 we studied Titus, Revelation, Timothy, Haggai and Ephesians. In 2010 it was James, Corinthians and Romans and in 2011 Luke and Acts.
